ABOUT
Elyze is an alternative/indie rock band with Mexican roots from Houston, TX, fronted by singer-songwriter Elton Salazar. Elyze's music reflects influences from Rock en Español, New-Wave and 90’s Brit-pop. Elton's songwriting creativity draws from artists such as Charles Bukowski, Franz Kafka, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Mark Rothko. Elton’s songs are poetically emotive and engaging with lyrics and melodies that are written with a genuine feeling that conveys images that anyone can easily relate and sing along to.

Under Elton's leadership, Elyze has managed to build a loyal and growing fan base in Houston, TX that can be heard singing Elyze songs like “Los Buitres”, “El Principio Del Final”, “Diablo”, “Post-Apocalyptic” and “Villano” at every Elyze live performance. Elyze is also peaking the interest of new fans in the following markets—Los Angeles, USA; Mexico City, Mexico; Monterrey, Mexico; and Lima, Peru.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Elyze has opened shows for Café Tacuva at Arena Theater, Houston, TX; Enjambre at the House of Blues, Houston, TX; and most recently, DLD at Flamingo Cantina, Austin, TX. Starting in the summer of 2021, Elton has collaborated with the official Caifanes and Jaguares tribute band, “Metamorfeame”, with "Vampiro" César López (ex-guitarist for Azul Violeta and Maná, and current guitarist for Jaguares) as the lead singer.

First Album... "Elyze"
Elyze's first album is a self-titled LP album, "Elyze," recorded in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and co-produced with Sacha Triujeque in 2011.
Second Album... "The Impact of My Extreme Isolation"
The second album, an EP, "The Impact of My Extreme Isolation," was recorded and co-produced with Edgar Medrano in 2019 in Houston, Texas.
Third Album... "Post-Apocalyptic"
Elyze's third album, "Post-Apocalíptico," was co-produced in the recording studios of Sacha Trujeque (Soga Records, Jiutepec, Morelos) and Odin Parada (Rec4studio, Guadalajara, Jalisco). Sacha collaborated on the tracks "Post-Apocalíptico" and "Diablo." Odin Parada also collaborated on "Nadia Como Tú" and other tracks yet to be released.
